Talking about Typhoons in the Philippines

Why do we have an increasing number of natural disasters like typhoons?

In 1997, Dr. Dmitriev conducted a 30-year study covering1963 t0 1993 on global natural disasters. He found out that hurricanes and typhoons had increased by 410 percent by occurrence. According to Dmitriev, the main cause of increase in natural disasters is due to increased temperature in ionosphere. This happens because of the reduction of trees especially in the tropics which mainly absorb carbon dioxide known as ‘carbon sequestring.’

The nationwide deforestation in our country in the past years brought a significant increase of temperature in the ocean surface of the Pacific, the reason why we are now suffering a tremendous increase in number of typhoons every year.

The slowing down of the earth’s rotation by 9 milliseconds per day plays also a significant role. This is due to the fact that the Earth’s magnetic pole is shifting from Canada to Siberia at a speed of 55 to 60 kilometers a year.

To counteract these natural disasters we need to pray and begin to plant more trees for a better future.

For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to sprout up before all the nations. Isaiah 61:11
